Multimedia Problems
Hi everyone, I have a problem that I need help with that is driving
me crazy. We have a presentation coming up for one of our major
clients in which we will need to incorporate several 2D animations
that we will be creating in Animator Pro. The problem we have is that
we need to bring them into Powerpoint which does not have direct
support for flic files. Normally that in itself would be no problem,
I would just bring it in as an object using Media Player and the
AAPLAY.DLL.
Unfortunately, there is a bug in the Autodesk player that I have been
told by them that they are aware of and are working with Microsoft
to come up with a fix for. Namely, when you place an animation and
then try to run it there is a border and caption plastered on the
animation in playback. (For example, across the top of the animation
there would be a caption reading something like C:\ANI\*.flc) There
is a section under options to uncheck about not having a border or
caption around the object but it makes no differance, you can't get
rid of it.
Again, Autodesk has told me they are aware of the problem and are
trying to come up with a fix for it but I'm afraid they won't have
anything in time for the presentation we are working on now. Has
anyone else run up against this, do you have any suggestions about
what I might do? ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
It's frustrating trying to use AniPro in what is for us an otherwise
exclusively Windows environment but we love the animations we can
build using both 3D Studio and AniPro.
