This seems to be the most-repeated advice: swap slots.
Do you have any idea WHY this should make a difference?
(Also, with hardcards in a 4000 there often isn't a lot of options for
swapping. The size of the drive may prevent it from going in the top
slot, the clearance beneath it may be too little for the bottom slot, and
in the middle two slots another board cannot fit in the next slot above
it.)
