>How can I read MacIntosh High Density format disks with AMAX IV ? Do I need to buy another floppy >drive ? If so, internal ? external ? About how much ? you can read a high density mac disk under macintosh emulation, as long as you have a standard amiga high density drive. my 3000 has one internal and it works fine. if you have a high density drive in your amiga (either external or interal) you do not need to buy another drive. if you do not have an amiga high density drive, then you will have to buy one if you want to read hd mac floppies under macintosh emulation. to read mac low density disks, you will have to use a disk transfer program which runs under amigados. it reads a mac 800k floppy to a file on your hard drive and then can write that file back to a mac floppy. bob 🙂
