This is a follow up to all of you who were reading and responding to this thread a couple of weeks ago. I finally received the SMPTE output module from Sunrize, and as promised, it did fix the problem of the sound triggering too soon. This is a software program that generates LTC and uses the Toaster or any other genlock device to synch the TC to the video. I was also using a beta version of Studio 16 3.01. The first improvement you will see in this interim upgrade is that they have gone back to using a bigger font interface which I am sure you will all welcome. Particularly using the cuelist, the samples are now much larger so grabbing those pesky little boxes to size and fade you samples is much easier to do. There are also significant internal improvements with how the program monitors and uses timecode. Those of you who have been using a camera or a deck that writes TC won't have been having this difting problem. But if you are using a software TC generator that won't work with the Toaster running, you may have the problem. I was using TC Gen program from MediaPhile that wouldn't work with the Toaster. Another pesky little thing to keep in mind that doesn't turn up in a lot of manuals, is that the right and left audio ports on the Amiga 2000 are reversed. You have to use the left audio when often the manual says use the right port. I think this is true for most Amigas except the A3000 (I am not sure about the A4000).
