The Amigas ablility to display animated graphics at a high frame rate is
what seperates 'Our Amigas' from the clones or Macs. Video on any level
always involves animated graphics or effects.
Many of us here have been using the Amiga for video work before the Macs
or PCs even had color graphics. My A1200/030 has awsome hi-color animated
graphics capability that even a 840 AV Quadra could barely keep up with
without a Video Vision.
I think most serious (beginner?) video people will stick with Amiga
because its still the only cheap alternative especially for Gurilla style
video work.
