Fred, The reason for being squeemish with regard to re-installing Toaster software onto a different drive has to do with a couple of things. 1. Amigados assign commands could create conflicts depending on companion software that is installed such as the Wipes package you mentioned. Things that may have worked perfectly before the move may not run at all because they were originally "assigned" by the system to be on another path. You can easily modify your user startup file (it's just a text file) to reflect the installation changes, but some are reluctant to take the chance of running into trouble if context isn't exactly followed. 2. Toaster saves it's project files in such a way that you may have difficulty loading fonts or CG pages (even lightwave files) if you have moved the files required to a differnt directory than they were in when last saved. Incedently, the reason your Pro-Wipes package needs to be installed onto the same HD as the Toaster is a restriction imposed by the Toaster program itself. It requires that any effects be available in the same directory in order to load. BTW, congrats on doing the review. It's nice to have a fresh viewpoint on products. WHich mag are you writing it for?
