The results would be strange if the extrusion was much at all. Any parts of
the map that touched the outside edge of the box would show thickness, but
anything in the center would only appear as flat. If you apply the map to just
flat faces with no thickness it would work fine, but then it's only 2D.
There is a file in the libraries called DXFGIF or something like that which
will let you convert a gif file to dxf. That will, in effect, trace the logo
and you may then load it into the shaper and loft it in the lofter. Try a
library search using dxf as a keyword.
Also if you have access to Corel (not the newest release. I believe) there is
a function called Trace which will also give you a vector image of a bit map.
