Anyone know of a good wav sequencer? Now that I can add a wav file to my
animations with PAR VCR I need a good sequencer to assemble the wav file with.
Everything I have seen or used wouldn't do. Wav editing programs will record
and mix two tracks but not in real time. If I were syncronizing a sound effect
with a PAR animation and already had background music then I would have to mix
the two audio tracks, test them in real time, and if they didn't work out then
I would have to start with the original sound tracks from scratch again when I
should be able to just adjust the offset of the sound effect from the music
track and have the program recreate the new wav file. Cakewalk will do this
but it wont generate a single output wav file which is needed for the PAR VCR.
What I am really looking for is a "video post" for audio type progam. Where I
can visually slide tracks back and forth and then listen to the compilation in
real time, do any adjusting that might need be done, and compile the final
result out to a single wav file. Anyone seen this?
Thanks,
Daniel
