The drivers allow for both Absolute and Relative in fact you can control the different areas of the tablet you want to make active and even turn the tablet around 180 degrees and configure it upside down if you want. Wacom's drivers allow for a great deal of lattitude in the amount of pressure and ever a "pressure curve" that is you can adjust the tablet to respond to the specifif way you personally use pressure while holding the pen. I use the pressure sensative pen most of the time. The only reason I've got the 4 button cursor is for my Autocad freinds that want to do something with the tablet overlay in Autocad on this particular workstation. >> . have you used a pressure sensitive stylus before? just curious. << Every Day…<BG> >>> also, do you find cursors difficult to draw freehand with? <<< Don't misunderstand me here dave but you seem to be going out of your way to make it look as if the WACOM tablet can only be used with a cursor.. that is not how 99% of the People who buy these tablets use them. The Whole Point of the Wacom tablet was it's pressure sensative Wireless/Batteryless Pen! As far as the Calcomp Tablet goes I didn't like the textured surface they put on the ones I tried, It felt like I was trying to draw over tiny speed bumps. The Wacom glides nice and smooth and very quite. No SpeedBumps…<g> You really should check the Wacom tablets out, I'm not trying to promote them per se' I just happen to enjoy using them. Murph'
