We are having a very similar experience. We have a lot of Mitsumi drives and
they have a lot of troubles with CD-R disks. (Gold dye…Plasmon 4101
recorder.)
A disk will read on one drive and then not read on another. It's very erratic.
Did you find anything out about this? Does anybody have any suggestions?
We have several dozen Mitsumi drives (Came with the Dell Computers) and they
just are weird.
We are very scared since we are presently burning about 50 CD-R disks per day
and based upon checking them on the Mitsumi drives about 10% of the disks are
unreadable.
ANY HELP OR ADVICE WOULD BE MOST WELCOME!
