Dear David,
_Which_ Sony and Panasonic drives did you test on, and what software are you
using to verify? My database contains trouble reports on Sony 33As and 55Es,
and on an unspecified model of Panasonic. Again, try to borrow a proven
reliable drive from someone and test on that. If your discs look okay there, we
know it's not the CD recorder or the software that's screwing up.
