Thank you for your reply. It was very interesting! We were very careful to be certain that all of the disks we used for this project were the very same brand and batch. Verbatim, the manufacturer, has received several of the bad disks and is doing a careful analysis of them. We are one of Verbatims largest customers (perhaps their largest CD-R customer) and we are working with very senior engineers. I think we will perhaps get a straight story.
