PMJI, >> Actually, I'm going to be transferring both LPs and old reel to reel tapes<< A suggestion–transfer the LPs (and cassettes, if you're using them) to DAT before you go to CD. This will standardize the playback, which from turntable to turntable (and even more so from different cass decks) is relatively inconsistent. The other nice thing is that you can take that opportunity to clean up the program (go to black between cuts, EQ, limiting, etc.) if you so desire. The reel to reel tapes should be o.k. as long they have calibration tones. If they don't, you may want to transfer those to DAT for the same reasons. Steve Cunnion Disc Makers 1-800-468-9353
