The only reason to buy a Yamaha 4X recorder over the Kodak or Philips (or
Pinnacle Micro, etc.) 2X is if writing a disc in 15 minutes is worthwhile. The
Kodak (an OEM Philips) writes just fine in 30 minutes (plus or minus three
minutes) a complpetely full disc.
