Man I didn't know I was going to create such a comotion, I was just looking for some help. Next thing you know I'll be getting a butt chewing from Phillips about a "Cheap CD recorder". Thanks for all your responses. I ended up doing what you suggested anyway and gave the disk to a CD recording company locally and there looking into the problem and burning me a new one with the files they can recover. I think it's like Jerry said that the drive puts a bad block at the end of the disk, because they had some difficulty reading it also but they finally about to with some drive they had. Thanks again.
