Thanks, Deirdre'. I received a prompt answer from Pinnacle Europe this
morning, and he basically blamed my Adaptec PCMCIA SCSI card. I'm going to talk
to Adaptec, and do some more experimentation on my own. I'll let you know what
I find out.
