Paul, what general type of platform are you using? Desktop machine, hard drive type, etc? That sounds like a lot of hassle to go through, at least the part about maintaining a stripped copy of Windows itself. What I'm trying to pin down is whether there's a big overhead factor with the RCD software itself that causes an otherwise fast drive to be "not fast enough" when recording the CD. Given the generally slow speed of the other functions in this software I'm thinking it's a reasonable suspicion.
