Sell me a CD-R!
Fleece me, fleece me! 🙂 I want to part with my cash!
I want to buy a CDROM recording drive. My company has three CDROM titles now,
and we're about to make a fourth. The price of CD-R has dropped so much, and
we've invented other reasons to get a CD-R drive, so let's go!
The discs often contain Unix files, so I'll produce a Rock Ridge- compatible
ISO image file with some software under Linux, working from a hard disk image.
I'll write that ISO image to a CD-R.
In other situations, we'll just make an ISO Level 1 disc from a DOS hard disk
image. We have a fast SCSI 486/66 with gigs of storage. A wise advisor says we
should get a drive based on the Sony 920.
Can someone point me to a reliable dealer that can FedEx me a CD-R drive and
some blanks ASAP?
