Hey Dan, I think I had the right idea, just didn't carry it far enough… There's a program called PCXDMP I think, and if you wrote a program to output ASCII characters to the screen and then called this program you could screen capture that to PCX and then convert it, there may even be better screen capture programs which will output to tga… to me writing something like this wouldn't take too much and you could automate the whole process without going out to video etc. and the captures would be very clean… What do you think, think that will do it for you? John
