>> If you're becoming an expert or semi-expert (?) on Animator Studio have you played with the MCI/AVI drivers for the PAR? Got it working? << hi John. expert? moi? <gg> i have seen a lot of discussion here about the PAR (and a lot of wishes for AStudio to support PAR)… AStudio was not written to support PAR (although the folks at Adesk are well aware of this) 🙂 AStudio tries to write temp files to the PAR drive (not allowed), but apparently some have been able to get file to PAR by saving out their movies to a non-PAR drive first (as a series of TGA images) and then assembling them using PAR DOS software into a format PAR can use. Someone mentioned that PAR has a Windows software too. Yet another comment was that someone suspected AStudio is saving out to 32-bit TGA images when PAR expects 24-bit images. i would suggest start simple, save TGA sequence of images out to non-PAR drive, assemble with PAR software for PAR use. hope this works and keeping my fingers crossed for patch/update in August. 🙂 -dave
