In my experience of running 3ds since early r1, there is pretty much no correlation in the price or brand name to how successful or trouble-free a system would be. I've had better luck with asian clones motherboards than some USA made supposedly "higher-quality" ones. I mainly ask around and listen in on this forum before I buy – that's about as much research as I've needed to do. Armed with this knowledge I was able to go out and buy ASUS dual-pentium/Diamond Stealth 64 (964 chip) 4mb VRAM systems. I've had pretty good luck with them. I'm curious about your qemm dislike. What would you suggest instead to access 128mb RAM? Martin
