I work in a Utilities IS/IT department serving several engineering departments. We've recently started a CAD users group with one of the first requests being to standardize our graphics adapters (or at least make recommendations to such). Our workstations usually consist of 486-66 to P5-90's with Nanao Monitors and a plethera of graphics adapters including Diamond, ATI, Matrox and Miro (ISA, VESA, and PCI). All departments have expressed a need for standardization but none will agree to any specifics (surprise, surprise);-> We would greatly appreciate any recommendations and/or references to any graphics hardware evaluations.
