>> I am working with a client of mine trying to script a slideshow in AAS. We are loading about 6 bitmaps that stay on the screen for about 3 to 4 seconds each. We want to play a music clip in the background while they flip from picture to picture. But when the picture flips the music stops and then restarts with the appearance of the next image. Are we doing this wrong or maybe I should ask "how do you do what I want to do?" << nope. this is a limitation in the way scriptor runs. easy workaround (although is costs some harddisk space)… make an AVI or a FLC out of the 6 bitmaps, create as many duplicates of each bitmap as necessary (15 frames per sec works) for the playback and viola, one flic while one soundtrack… no sound skips. hope this technique helps. we save a 6-frame flic to reproduce and store these kinds of presentations, remembering to expand any frame to 15 before playback in presentations. -dave
