Peter,
Perhaps you can help me with this question, it is in response to your post
where you mention SGI-NT.
I have been politic'in to advance image analysis in our toxicology laboratory
into the 3D world. Last week I got the go-ahead to order an SGI (R4400)Indigo 2
with XZ graphics. I have been so busy evaluating 3D image analysis software
literature that I have not had the chance to consider other issues for my new
machine. Next week I go to the tourist mecca of the world (Fairfield Iowa) to
check out one of the finalists. <g>
The heart of the question is: will 3DSR5 will run under NT on the SGI box?
I did not even know the NT existed for SGI machines …. kinda like not knowing
where to put the gas into a Rolls. My experience to date has been limited to
DOS, VMS and Windows 3.11.
