Guy, I would seriously recommend the ImMix Turbo Cube for a high quality nonlinear system. We have had one for a few months now, and it is incredible. Top notch video quality, alot of realtime effects- including 3D page turns, and DVE. Flying audio faders, realtime keying (luma,alpha, chroma) and lots more. Expensive, ($90k) but it totally replaced our online (linear) suite costing much more. Very productive, and easy to use. (I picked up the basics in a few hours..) It runs on a PowerMac (interface), with it's own RAID array and dedicated modular hardware for the video and audio. Very upgradable. (the computer doesn't process the actual video) Backup time is 10% longer than realtime. Component input/output. Uncompressed Quicktime input/output also allows you to input 3DS animation (with Debabelizer), as well as After Effects, and other stuff. It's a Killer nonlinear box. JNJ
