Dear Everyone: Hi! I own an electronic graphics business called Pixel Perfect Communications. I am NOT an INTERNET superhighway weiney, though, so I need you to reply to this via E-mail. You MUST be proficient at 3D imaging, no wanna-bes, please. Currently I am SWAMPED with work and I have a fairly "simplistic" (the stranger said, with a slight grin) scene which I need created. Are you a good 3D modeler/designer? The scene consists of an elevated view of a zoo. Kind of like a view from a plane, only in 3D. No animal detail whatsover. Only major structures (which could be fairly simplistic — but not cartoonish renditions) and the footpaths/sidewalks throughout the zoo. Other details would include moderate attention to landscaping detail, taking artistic liberty with tree and shrub placement, and contouring the basically flat layout with moderate slopes. There are several watering holes which need to be represented. A train track running the perimeter of the zoo might be included as well. Again, not to approach photo-realism, but to add texture and visual interest. I NEED: 1) ONE 640 x 480, 24-bit image of the zoo. 2) All pertinent files needed to create the image (in case re-rendering becomes necessary) all models, maps, textures, etc. Time frame is somewhat flexible, but the sooner the better. I will provide all pertinent artwork, which basically consists of a real cheesy pamphlet they gave my company, a B & W layout of the footpath of the zoo I created from this cheesy brochure, and a thumbnail sketch of the desired compostion. Are you interested? If so, can you ball park the cost and time for me? Please respond ASAP TO MY E-MAIL, please. Thanks! Oh yea!….uhh ….nice to meet you…. — Danno
