>> I need some help with color cycling in Animator Pro. I'm doing a large
projects that has a bunch of color cycling showing flow through a valve. The
problem is that the direction and/or speed of the color cycling change each
time I put down a path. I've got 31 frames. I have been starting at frame 1
each time. I draw a path with cycle active. I then turn on time and press redo.
I know I must be missing something, but my steps are the same each time. Any
help would be most appreciated. <<
no problem. go through these steps exactly for starters:
a) start brand new session (1 frame)
b) go to Palette menu. select 32 register cluster (around middle of
pallete)
c) go to |Value|Ramp| and pick ramp
d) pick on upper left register black and then upper right register white.
this creates a gradient from black to white in the 32-register cluster
e) go back to home screen.
f) toggle "C" (color cycling) in home panel.
g) using DRAW and a sizeable circle brush with OPAQUE ink, draw a sqiggle.
the colors will cycle as you draw.
h) go to |Flic|Total Frames| and expand flic to 32 frames (same count as
number of registers in the cluster to be cycled.
i) go to Palette menu again, toggle _off_ FIT, toggle _on_ "T" (time mode),
and then go to |Arrange|Cycle| and render. Bingo.
same process for a "flow" diagram.
