<But after doing a lot of investigating I discovered that noncoastal NZ
resembles Bavarian Europe>
Yeah. The tail end of the Himalayan range actually manifests itself in our
South Island as the Southern Alps. Nothing as high of course – Mt Cook is only
12349 feet high – but, still enough incentive there to go out and climb.
'Course, we don't just produce climbers – Ernest Rutherford, born in the shadow
of those same Alps, would have felt quite at home in Amarillo, Texas, seeing as
how he first split the atom. And I understand that there were a number of NZ
scientists in a place called Los Alamos during the Second World War…
<What amazes me is the number and distribution of 3ds users…>
Well, of course, like cockroaches, were a hardy breed. If we can survive the
winters of Russia and, dare I say it, New Zealand, then if we ever do have a
nuclear war, while there won't be any survivors who can cook, farm, or even
light a fire, I suspect there will be some beautifully rendered animations of
the Armageddon itself!
3DSers – we may be expensive, but we're useless!
