Although getting to the real power of Acad will take me some time, I have learned to use it in a few months. I was tutored a bit by a friend of mine who does Acad for a living, and have since been doing the textbook and NRP tutorials. Since I only use Acad to complement 3D Studio I don't feel the need to spend large amounts of time in intensive training, yet I still feel the program is very accessible.
