I'm skeptical. "Broadcast quality" is such an abused term. I think if you talk
to video types they might agree that you have to have a data rate of 6-10+
Mb/sec to achieve broadcast quality. Or from 3:1 to 1:1 compression.
Who is the output intended for? The MARS 2 might be fine for many applications
but I'd lean towards the PVR myself, but that's me and my applications (film,
high-end commercial, motion control rides etc). And then only for preview
purposes – final output is Exabyte/Abekas/D1 or D2.
