SigGraph
We were able to make a home-brew interface for the Sega glasses that worked
with Wade's code, several months ago, but we probably were applying the
wrong voltage as we toasted 2 sets of LCD's. The complexity of a
quad-buffering system to be able to do animations. was something we are
waiting until be get the current version buttoned up to do. Ther was also
another outfit with a slightly different system, which purported to be
brighter sharper with less flicker. But those folks were at SIGGRAPH and
the glasses they had were just HORRID! it was like looking through a glass
of milk or what it might be like to have cataracts.! We told Shawn to send
us a few sets on when he gets his backorders taken care of and we'll whip
up a player. Let me know about the IC module.
