Hi and welcome! For a suggested modem, the SupraModem 2400 seems to be the
modem of choice hereabouts. There's an offer for Amigafora members tht
discounts the already low price, it is 99% Hayes compatible (miising one
strange register) and has drawn raves from the members here that have used it.
2400 baud for _well_ under $200 is _not_ to be sneezed at! You'll find
additional information about the offer from Supra in Lib 1, SUPRA.TXT. Highly
recommended.
By the way, I'm an ex-Apple user myself, but still have the thing sitting on
top of a desk, slowly gathering a very thick layer of dust. 8)
