Actually, you might be able to get a demo copy of Autoplant from EDA. It only lets you draw 6" and 12" lines, but I think everything else works. You'd need the dongles to access everything. Have you tried approaching some of the software companies and saying you're interested in becoming a consultant for them, and asking how you can get some training? You never know; *someone* might be willing to give it a shot… Otherwise, I agree with Evan. If you want to have the software, you pretty well have to buy it. I think you're going overboard, however, if you think you *have* to know Omnipipe AND Autoplant AND Adev AND Cadpipe. Just do a little research in your area and find out which one is most common. Dave
