<continuation> desire to do so. The fact that these utilities are not "blessed" by some faceless marketing wonder in West Chester does not bother *me* in the least. I CAN make the WorkBench do what I want it to do, when I want it to do it. I also have an alternative to use the CLI, which can ALSO be accessed from the WorkBench, if I so desire. I never said that you should design a better WorkBench, and no doubt it can be improved, but I do say that IT CAN GET THE JOB DONE. That is what matters to me – getting the job done. WorkBench does not supply me a wordprocessor, either. BUT I can launch WordPerfect, Excellence, ProWrite, or any number of other FROM THE WORKBENCH. Should I demand that Commodore issue a WorkBench with a wordprocessor built in? I think that's kind of silly. WorkBench does not supply me a terminal program, BUT I can launch Access!, OnLine!, Whap!, and a host of others FROM THE WORKBENCH. Is WorkBench broken because it didn't come with a built in terminal program? I don't think so. Every complaint you have made about the WorkBench so far has a solution, be it built in or from an outside party. Sometimes, it may take a little effort to get through to these solutions, but they are available to you. If you choose not to use them, it isn't WorkBench's fault. <continued>
