Oh but Thomas, that soaring beyond the specification _is_ the art in programming, nor more and no less than is the soaring beyond the specification when rendering a sunset onto canvas. It markes the difference between functionality and art. It goes beyond getting the right answer from the program or depicting exactly what the sunset looks like. Look at the people who prefer one program over another, though they do the same thing in the final analysis. -larry
