Good question. For whatever its worth, I've read that excell can read and use
a 123 sheet including macros. Analyze can read the data, but not handle most
of the macros. It is my impression that if the program itself has the look and
feel of the original it may well be illegal, at least according to the
arguments I've heard that Lotus and Apple have used in various battles with
competitors.
