If I thought I could earn enough money selling a BlitzDisk-only package, without losing an equivalent ammount in TxEd Plus package sales, I would do it. However, after my experience with losing money on the FastFonts package, I'm not anxious to volunteer myself into a similar position again. If you get me a list of 3000 names of people who'd buy BlitzDisk at 39.95, I'll have a package out in 2 months. My guess is that I'd be lucky to sell 1500 copies, while losing 300 TxEd Plus package sales … this would ammount to net revenue difference of $14,000. It would cost me something like $9000 to produce 1500 copies, and then I'd have to get into things like advertising, dealer mailings, etc. All in all, my analysis is that I would be losing a few K$ on the package, plus 4 months without pay. Find me those 3000 names and I'm in the ballpark.
