It seems that the 'new' version of vd0: has a serious bug, already mentioned here before. I have a 4meg A1000, and I set up vd0: with the HiCyl set at 403 which gives me a 3meg vd0:. When I fill up vd0: past the 2meg mark, in my case, my 3meg vd0: is more than 60% full, vd0: starts using CHIP ram. When the CHIP ram is all consumed (about 4k of CHIP ram is left), I get the 'out of memory' alert, or the 'read/write error' alert, even when my Amiga has 1.3meg of free FAST ram left. I can't really go back to the old asdg.vdisk.device (6040 bytes), because if I set the HighCyl past 255 (greater than 2meg), it will not work, and I want a 3meg vd0:. Is there 'any' greater than 2meg vd0:'s out there that 'will work'? Luciano 73246,1744
