Well, since you asked… We chose color 0 to be blue, since it was more pleasing for the screen border color than the only other useful choice (black). Color 1 is white since we want the menus to be rendered in blue with white background (and if you don't use colors 0 and 1 for the screen/menu/window foreground and background colors then the check marknext tomenu items will come out looking terrible). Color 6 (the inverse of color 1) was chosen to be black so that when white (color 1) is inverted then it will invert to black. Color 7 was chosen to be red so that an inverted blue (color 0) will be red (which is more pleasing than yellow). The remaining colors (2, 3, 4, 5) were non-critical in their assignment. Thus showing that we have reasons for just about everything we do in ProWrite, even the minute details. James Bayless New Horizons Sotware, Inc.
