There *is*, or at least used to be, a software solution. It's called
Media Master and is or was sold by Intersecting Concepts, 80 Long Court,
Thousand Oaks, Calif. 91360, phone (805) 373-3900.
I believe that versions of Media Master for the IBM PC or AT sold for
about $50. The program enables a computer to read from and write to
various "foreign" formats on its floppy drives.
