Willett,
Do you know anything about how the VT100 <ESC> c sequence, called "reset
to initial state," performs on Rainbow. When I first discovered it, I
thought it might be a shortcut to put everything back to the state that it
had been in on leaving a program like QC, which modifies quite a few
parameters.
However, when I tried sending that string to the terminal and then
starting QC, it apparently screwed up the comm port. (I had sent the string
from a separate program, then entered QC via the operating system.)
It looks like <ESC> c may be only partly implemented on the Rainbow and
may not work outside of terminal mode.
Any thoughts?
