Steve, Unfortunately, I don't have too much information about the Firecracker. I had a "review" (maybe Preview would be better) from the most recent issue of Amazing Computing – but I left that at work. Anyway, with 1 meg on board it is supposed to give 512 X 4xx resolution with 24 bit planes (16 million colors), and with 2 meg on the card it is supposed to have 1024 x 4xx resolution with the same bit planes (I don't remember the exact number in the one instance – hence the 4xx – it is fourhundred and something). Impulse has a representative in AmigaVendor, I believe. Maybe he could answer these questions. And then again, I've heard rumors that someone else is also working on a 24 bit plane board for the Amiga. I don't remember who though. Someone other than NewTek (the Video Toaster is supposed to be 24 bit too). Lloyd
