Well, I just started working on one. You will have to enter the different airports along your intended route, the wind, true airspeed, and fuel consumption. The program will then calculate the distance, groundspeed, time enroute, true tracks, heading and fuel required for the trip. It will keep a database of airports/navaids and another one for airplanes and their specs. This will basically give you all the necessary info for planning a trip, and filing a flight plan.
