Thanks for your help, and yes I find it awkward too. I have another question concerning a potentially powerful utility – PIPE: As the manual reads, it looks as if it could operate similarly to the Macintosh scrapbook but apart from the simple example given in the manual, I cant get any program to recognize pipe: much less read anything from it. And the CLI that sent the program through pipe: just sits there waiting. Do you know any programs that I could pipe something too so that I can further explore this potentially useful utility? ..Keir.
