Thanks for the feedback. I've had an AMAXII+ for several years in my A3000. I have a GVP 040 in it, and the Amax B& W stuff worked great – just no QuickTime. When I got my 4000, I picked up an Emplant. It's really cool, but I still have as yet ot get it the SCSI interface to work properly, and their Tech support is little better than trying to get in touch with Joe Bob at the local garage – not easy, to say the least. (True, their bug fixes are coming out fast and furious, but in a commercial environment, it's not proving to be a product I can rely on.) Either solution still makes for a good, _cheap_, Mac…..
