Eric, I don't want to make any assumptoins about your knowledge of the Amiga hardware and/or OS… but it seems to me that you've trivialized writing this translator a bit too much. While OS2 2.0 might be able to 'run' code written for DOS, Windows and OS2 , all of the above mentioned programs were still written 'for an intel chip equipped machine'. Aside from the Intel->Motorolla diferences, there are issues of multi-tasking, not writing to the hardware directly, not reading the hardware directly, and a fairly globally different aproach/understanding of interfacing with the OS. While your statement that it would not be impossible is true (most things are possible), witness the difficulties that the various 'emulators' have in making assumptions about how to map calls and run at any kind of speed. It would take a fairly Intel'legent program to make enough 'close enough fit' assumptions to port an MS DOS program to the Amiga (and I doubt you'd even like the results). Keith
