Help, About 3 months ago, I purchased a 3.0 Toaster Upgrade from a gentleman named Mike Smith. The package I recieved contained no registration card. Now with the 3.1 upgrade coming out, I'm on the short end of the stick here with no upgrade path. I did register my 2.0 version though. I attempted to send E-Mail to Mike Smith but the message was rejected with the note "RECEIVER NOT FOUND. COULD NOT DELIVER MESSAGE" from CIS. Apparently his account is closed here. I'm sure that the 3.0 package I got from him is Legitimate since the Floppies were all still shrinkwrapped and could not have been installed prior to my reception. I called NewTek and was told they could do nothing. If anyone has a suggestion here, I'd sure appreciate it. What would be the ethical dilema of requesting for another user to send/sell a copy of their 3.1 upgrade? After all, it's supplied at no charge to legitimate owners of the 3.0 software of which I'm one? Thoughts? Thanks, Jim Broek Providence Video Productions 1518 N.
