This past April Jim Dionne announced the shipment of the 3 millionth Amiga. It was the October (give or take a month) before that that Commodore announced the sale of the 2 millionth Amiga. Sounds a lot like just under 1 million a year to me, perhaps 800K. And Apple sells somewhere around 1.2 million units a year if I remember right. Well, it is at least 1.2 million.
