Perhaps by the time I get it, I will have switched to 2.0 and a new Denise chip that has been sitting here for a while waiting to be installed. I believe we will be able to switch to PAL mode easily with the new chips and 2.0. I thought it must be a national group because it is so LARGE, not because it was small!! I think it's wonderful to have that many. I'm not sure of the membership of ICPUG in England (also a national group) but I think it is between 6,000 and 8,000. We have no national group here in the US, so our clubs usually have from 100-500 members, with some larger and others smaller, but each club runs independently of the others. There are two groups here in the Ft. Worth-Dallas area, each independent (though we cooperate on various projects) with its own officers, treasury, newsletter, etc. Sometimes I think we users might carry more weight with Commodore if we did have some kind of national organization with all of our individual clubs working with it, but the US is so huge that it is very difficult to manage anything like that, simply because of distance.
