1) It is cheaper for Commodore to make only one kind of chip rather than two. That is why Commodore is installing 1MB Agni in the A500s, even though only 512K is activated (I believe). 2) If Commodore nixes 2.0 upgrades, they are idiots. But considering they spent god knows how many man-years into 2.0 it would be unimaginable for them not to ship it. 3) I have no idea what you are talking about when you say stopping production. If you are referring to Unix machines, most likely the demand for 3000s is SO GREAT that they are making more money, for now, by selling 3000s. What is stupid is that the Unix machines aren't on power-up as well. I never said I agree with everything CBM does, but most of it does make sense from some perspective, that perspective just might not be yours. — Ethan
